OpenAI recently announced that it is expanding its custom instructions feature to non-paying users , to give them more control over how the system responds. The feature was first launched in July as a Beta for ChatGPT+ subscribers, allowing users to add preferences and requirements that they want the AI chatbot to consider when responding to their query. Previously, as soon as you switched to an encrypted chat, all custom ization options disappeared, leaving the users with a plain white background. Users can now set themes, have a full range of emoji reactions to make their conversations look less boring, custom ise the quick reaction tray, set group profile photos, and view active status icons and link previews.
