And Taylor Swift admitted during a sit-down with BBC Radio 1 that she’s remaining ‘positive’ about the opportunity to rerecord all of her music. The pop star chatted it up with Clara Amfo and revealed that she’s looking forward to diving back into her past to recreate the music she no longer owns after switching record labels and losing the rights to her master work to mega manager Scooter Braun. When Clara asked how it felt to legally own her first and latest album, Lover, Taylor was overjoyed. ‘It’s the best,’ she said. ‘It’s literally the most satisfying feeling in the world.’ Swift had been with Big Machine Label since she was 15 and moved over to Universal Music Group’s Republic Record in a well-publicized deal.
