NHL Parlay Picks & Predictions for Saturday at +855 odds, 1/27
The NHL All-Star Weekend is now just a week away, and we have a loaded Saturday slate to enjoy. It’s not quite another day of the entire league in action, but with 14 games on the horizon, 28 of the 32 teams take the ice. With that including early afternoon games, there’s no time to waste breaking down the matchups. That’s why we’ve provided you with our best NHL parlay picks for today below.
Along with our NHL mega parlay, be sure to check out all of our NHL predictions for today’s action!
NHL Parlay Picks (1/27)
Sabres -1.5 (+125)
Devils ML (+120)
Canucks -1.5 (-105)
Parlay odds +855
Buffalo Sabres -1.5 (+125) over San Jose Sharks
It’s not quite one of the first puck-drops, but one of the afternoon games takes place out in San Jose with the Sharks hosting the Buffalo Sabres. Outside of the game being in California, just about all signs point to a Sabres victory. After all, the Sharks have been sinking since the first day of the season. Their confidence is likely as high as it’s been all season after a few wins, but we expect them to come back down to Earth today.
They faced Buffalo just 12 days ago and were completely shutout, and the Sabres’ strength is not their goaltending. The same can be said of San Jose, as they continue to lead the entire NHL in terms of goals allowed per game. Buffalo may not be among the most elite teams, but they’re still entering this game 6-4-0 in their last 10 games, so they’ve been far from terrible. With the value we’re getting on a team facing the league’s worst, we’ll take the Sabres to get our NHL parlay picks started.
New Jersey Devils ML (+120) over Tampa Bay Lightning
Speaking of teams that have been hot as of late, the Lightning have been nothing short of electric. However, we’re going to be fading that spark and instead trust the Devils to begin heating up. This one will likely cause the most hesitation of our NHL parlay picks, but New Jersey nearly upset the Carolina Hurricanes the other night and still have a top-10 scoring team.
Even without Jack Hughes on the ice, their top lines are more efficient than you’d think, and they fell by just 1 goal to Tampa earlier this month. Again, the Lightning have been sharp, but they’ve beaten the likes of the Arizona Coyotes, Anaheim Ducks and a depleted Philadelphia Flyers team as of late. Their recent loss was also one to the Detroit Red Wings in which they scored just a single goal against a team that struggles defensively. It may be a bit of a sweat, but we’re taking the Devils as part of our NHL parlay picks.
Vancouver Canucks -1.5 (-105) over Columbus Blue Jackets
The third and final leg of our NHL parlay picks is one where we wouldn’t even mind adding some extra value and taking the -2.5 puck line. After it looked as though the Canucks were on the come up two seasons ago, they faltered last year. Despite that, they have been a completely different team this year, and they will most likely enter the All-Star Break remaining on top of the Pacific Division ahead of the defending-champion Vegas Golden Knights.
They’ve been so strong primarily due to having the NHL’s best scoring offense, and they now have as good of a matchup as they could ask for. Yet again, the Blue Jackets have been awful in terms of goaltending, allowing the 2nd-most goals per Game. So, unsurprisingly, they’re the worst team in the entire Eastern Conference. What was surprising was Vancouver losing to Columbus earlier this year, but we’re backing them to get their revenge in a big way tonight.
